MTV to axe its music TV channels in the UK
After almost 40 years as MTV's first 24-hour music broadcaster, it will no longer be shown in the United Kingdom, after nearly 40 years when it shuts five channels at the end of the year. The BBC has announced that MTV Music, MTV 80s, M TV 90s, Club MTV, and MTV Live will all be out of television broadcasting after December 31.
