WhatsApp Video Calls

WhatsApp Video Calls Now Support 32 Participants

WhatsApp has revealed a new update in the video calling services that enhances this, now, strong tool for group interaction or as an entertainer.

Group video calls allow up to 32 participants at the same time.

What is even more impressive is that while traditional WhatsApp voice calls were allowed only up to 15 people, video calls can now connect as many as 32 participants. Therefore, the expansion would make it appropriate to accommodate more people in large groups, gatherings like families, or to reunite a larger number of friends. With this increase, it becomes convenient to organize a meeting, maybe through teleconference.

View videos with another participant while you can both see the screen and hear the audio.

Going beyond screen share, Call participants can now record the screen and share it with the audio during a video call. This creates a host of possibilities – presentations, movie nights with friends, or even people browsing a website together are a few examples.

Speaker Spotlight: Don’t Miss Out on Who’s Speaking

During the call, it may be difficult to remember who is in the call if there are 32 people participating in the call. As for this, WhatsApp comes with the new feature called “Speaker Spotlight. ” It simply underlines the speaker, you know who deserves your attention in the conversation at the moment.

Better calling experience for a smooth connection

Besides increasing the number of participants and adding new features, WhatsApp also aims to improve call quality. The recently developed MLow codec enhances the reliability of calls. This translates to better noise and echo cancellation for mobile users, which provides a means for users to communicate more clearly despite noisy backgrounds.

Furthermore, thanks to the availability of better internet connections, the quality of the video streams has been increased. All in all, audio quality has been improved making the calling experience better i. e. not getting irritated while making a call, depending on the network signal or the age of the device.

This update takes WhatsApp’s video call features to another level completely. Increasing the number of group members, enhancing the process of sharing on-screen images and videos, and offering clear sound quality to the participants make WhatsApp a wonderful tool for effective communication. This leads to a higher interest in the group performance and makes group communication in the platform more appealing and effective in building a community.
