Sharon Osbourne Lists $17 Million Hancock Park Estate

End of an Era: Sharon Osbourne Lists $17 Million Hancock Park Estate Following Ozzy’s Passing

LOS ANGELES — Nine months after the rock world bid farewell to the "Prince of Darkness," Sharon Osbourne is officially parting ways with the historic Los Angeles trophy estate she shared with her late husband, Ozzy Osbourne. The meticulously restored Hancock Park mansion hit the market on Monday 6th April with a commanding asking price of $17 million.

The move marks a poignant final chapter for the family in Southern California. According to listing details, Sharon, 73, plans to downsize to a luxury apartment in Los Angeles to remain close to her children and grandchildren while continuing to split her time with the family’s permanent estate in Buckinghamshire, England.

A Spanish Revival Masterpiece

Originally built in 1929 by architect A.K. Kellogg, the Mediterranean-style villa spans more than 11,500 square feet. The Osbournes purchased the property in 2015 for $11.85 million and spent years overseeing a "labor of love" restoration that balanced modern luxury with the home’s golden-age Hollywood glamour.

“Careful restorations have maintained the historical architecture while elevating the property to a level of epic glamour,” the listing from Carolwood Estates reads. “It’s a level of craftsmanship rarely found in today’s market.”

Inside the “Osbourne Manor”

The seven-bedroom, 11-bathroom estate is as much a museum of Hollywood history as it is a family home. One of its most famous features is a private screening room where the walls bear the signatures of legendary stars who have visited the home over the decades, including Elvis Presley and Natalie Wood.

Property Highlights

Feature Description
Living Space 11,565 Square Feet
Architectural Style 1929 Spanish Revival
Unique Amenity Wood-paneled library and grand entrance foyer
Outdoor Oasis Mosaic-tiled resort pool, pizza oven, and barbecue station
Historical Detail Original crown moldings and Prohibition-era bar

The Road Home to the U.K.

The decision to sell comes after years of "will-they, won't-they" regarding a move back to the United Kingdom. The couple initially listed the home for $18 million in 2022, citing high tax rates and a desire to return to their roots. However, Ozzy’s various health setbacks, including his battle with Parkinson’s disease, repeatedly delayed those plans.

Tragically, the heavy metal icon passed away in July 2025 in England, just months after finally making the permanent move he had long desired.

“In Good Spirits”

Sharon was spotted by photographers in Los Angeles on Tuesday, reportedly in "good spirits" despite the emotional weight of the sale. Sources close to the family indicate that while the mansion holds countless memories and served as a backdrop for the documentary Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home, it is "simply too much house" for Sharon to maintain alone.

The sale represents one of the most significant celebrity real estate listings of 2026, offering a rare opportunity for a buyer to own a piece of rock 'n' roll history in one of L.A.'s most prestigious neighborhoods.
