Harry Styles 'Pilgrimage Experience' Tour Launches in Holmes Chapel

Experience Harry Styles’ Hometown with New Holmes Chapel Village Tour

The Holmes Chapel Partnership has launched the new Harry’s Home Village Tour, with the first batch of 1,000 tickets now available for purchase. Billed as a 'pilgrimage experience' for Harry Styles fans, the tour offers a guided walk through the picturesque village of Holmes Chapel, where the superstar spent his formative years.

A Journey Through Harry Styles' Roots

The three-hour walking tours, led by enthusiastic superfans, cover iconic locations that have become part of Harry Styles' growing mythos. Key stops include the Mandeville Bakery, where Harry worked as a teenager, and the historic Twemlow Viaduct, rumored to be the site of his first kiss.

Behind the Tour

Isabella Boughey, a self-confessed Harry Styles superfan and one of the tour guides, shares her insights and excitement about the tour. A spokesman for the Holmes Chapel Partnership describes the tour as "more than just a walk - it’s an intimate glimpse into the world of Harry Styles and a beautiful Cheshire village." The tour aims to offer a magical journey through Holmes Chapel, highlighting the places that inspired Harry's music and creative spirit.

Harry Styles' Impact on Holmes Chapel

Since Harry Styles' rise to international fame following One Direction’s appearance on The X-Factor in 2010, Holmes Chapel has become a pilgrimage site for his global fanbase. The Twemlow Viaduct, a Grade II listed structure, has particularly gained notoriety and is now covered in graffiti messages to the star. The Holmes Chapel Partnership launched the tours to prevent further damage to the viaduct and to ensure the safety of visitors navigating the busy village.

Interactive and Memorable Experience

To thank visitors for respecting the village and its heritage, the tour includes an opportunity for fans to inscribe a message on a free slate heart, which can either be left at Twemlow Viaduct or taken home as a souvenir.
