Ozzy Osbourne Documentary Pulled from BBC Schedule Without Warning

Fans expecting to watch Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home on BBC One have been left in the dark after the much-anticipated documentary, which was due to air tonight (Monday 18th August), has been pulled from the BBC’s schedule without explanation. Originally set to air at 9pm, the film has suddenly been replaced by an episode of Fake or Fortune?. The BBC has confirmed the documentary has been "moved in the schedules" but has offered no details on when it will be broadcast.

Filmed over three years, the documentary promised “a moving and inspirational account” of the metal legend’s final years, as Ozzy and his family returned to the UK and he fought to perform one last time. The film features candid moments with Sharon, Jack, and Kelly, chronicling Ozzy’s health struggles and his dream to return to the stage. “Iron Man wasn’t really made of iron,” Kelly says in one emotional moment.

Ozzy, who passed away last month at age 76, gave his final performance in Birmingham just 17 days before his death. Executive producers described the film as “an inspiring and poignant account” and praised the singer’s "intense love" for his family. The BBC says it will announce a new air date soon, leaving fans eager to see what is now a farewell tribute to one of rock’s most iconic figures.
