Three teenagers killed in Highland crash

Three teenagers died after a car crash on the A830 in the Highlands late Thursday night. Emergency services were called to the scene near Arisaig, west of Fort William, at approximately 11:15 PM.
The three teenagers, believed to be boys, were the driver and two passengers in a Ford Fiesta. All three were pronounced dead at the scene. Police said formal identification has yet to be completed.

Inspector Donnie MacKinnon of Police Scotland offered condolences, stating, "Our thoughts are with the families and friends of the people who died as a result of this crash." Police are still investigating the circumstances and have asked any witnesses or drivers with dashcam footage to come forward.
First Minister John Swinney and Deputy First Minister Kate Forbes both expressed their sorrow on social media. Swinney said he was "deeply sad" to learn of the tragedy, and Forbes called the news "devastating beyond words."
Lochaber High School in Fort William, which the teens are believed to have attended, released a statement saying, "We are deeply saddened by the recent tragedy in our neighborhood. Our hearts and thoughts are with everyone affected at this difficult time." The school announced that support services would be available for students and parents starting Monday.
