Three teenagers killed in Highland crash

Three teenagers were killed after the car they were in crashed on the A830 in the Highlands. About 23:15 on Thursday, emergency services were dispatched to the road near Arisaig, west of Fort William. At the hospital, the three children were discovered dead. Official identification had yet to take place, according to police, but they suspected the driver and the two passengers in the Ford Fiesta were both teen boys. Lochaber High School in Fort William has released a note stating that its hearts and thoughts are with those impacted.

Insp Donnie MacKinnon said,

Our thoughts are with the families and friends of the people who died as a result of the tragedy.
Our investigations are ongoing to establish the full facts,
the officer said, and I am urging anyone who was involved in the accident and who hasn't already spoken to officers to get in touch.
I would also recommend to anyone who lived in the area and who may have a dashcam video that might have helped us reach us. "The accident occurred on a stretch of road near the Borrodale House hotel. Police, ambulance, and fire teams were dispatched to the scene. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said it had been alerted just before 23:30, and two appliances were sent to support the other emergency services.

'Deeply saddened'
