Bybit, the world's second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, has announced the integration of Apple Pay for Bybit Card users. This addition offers a safer, more secure, and private way to pay, utilizing the power of the iPhone to protect every transaction. Customers can now avoid handing over their payment cards, touching physical buttons, or exchanging cash, making payments more hygienic and efficient.
How Apple Pay Works with Bybit Card
Contactless Payments:
Users can make contactless payments by holding their iPhone or Apple Watch near a payment terminal. Each transaction is authenticated with Face ID, Touch ID, or a device passcode, alongside a unique dynamic security code.
Wide Acceptance:
Apple Pay is accepted in various locations including grocery stores, pharmacies, taxis, restaurants, coffee shops, and retail stores.
Convenience in Apps and Online:
Apple Pay can be used on iPhone, iPad, and Mac for quick and easy purchases in apps or on the web in Safari. This eliminates the need to create accounts or repeatedly enter shipping and billing information.
Security and Privacy:
When using a credit or debit card with Apple Pay, the actual card numbers are not stored on the device or Apple servers. Instead, a unique Device Account Number is assigned, encrypted, and securely stored in the Secure Element chip on the device.
Setting Up Apple Pay with Bybit Card
Open the Wallet app on your iPhone.
Tap and follow the steps to add Bybit’s credit or debit cards.
Once added, users can start using Apple Pay on their iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, and Mac immediately.
