Fresh Turmoil for Disgraced Mogul: Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Sued for Alleged Sexual Assault of Underage Child Actor

LOS ANGELES — Incarcerated music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs is facing fresh legal jeopardy after a civil lawsuit was filed in California accusing him of sexually assaulting a minor nearly two decades ago.

The complaint, lodged by an anonymous male plaintiff suing under the pseudonym John Doe, alleges that Combs targeted him during an industry networking event in May 2007, when the plaintiff was a legally protected minor working as a child actor in Hollywood.

The dramatic developments add to a growing mountain of civil litigation confronting the 56-year-old founder of Bad Boy Records. Combs is currently serving a 50-month prison sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution, Fort Dix in New Jersey, following his criminal conviction last year on prostitution-related charges.

A Bait-and-Switch in the Hollywood Hills

According to the civil court documents, the plaintiff was already an actively working teenage actor when he accepted an invitation to attend what was presented to him as a high-level industry networking event at a residential property in the Hollywood Hills.

The lawsuit alleges that upon meeting the teenager, Combs invited him into a private room away from the main party under the explicit guise of discussing future career placement and potential casting opportunities, specifically referencing a new project the music executive was reportedly producing.

Once isolated, the encounter allegedly took a sinister turn. The filing claims that the plaintiff was offered a beverage and shortly thereafter began to "feel the effects" of the drink. According to the complaint, Combs then began touching the teenager inappropriately, working his way down his body.

The plaintiff explicitly asserts in the legal paperwork that he verbally communicated to the producer that the situation was making him uncomfortable and that he wished to stop. Despite this, the lawsuit alleges that Combs proceeded to force a sexual act upon the minor while simultaneously pleasuring himself.

The complaint describes the disgraced rapper’s conduct as completely "outrageous":

“Defendant Combs' conduct was intended to terrorise and cause him emotional distress, and did in fact cause him emotional distress. This assault was so extreme as to go beyond the bounds of decency and be regarded as intolerable by civilised society.”

Following the alleged assault, the plaintiff claims Combs callously told him he would "keep him in mind" for future acting jobs before exiting the room. The young actor, described as being in a state of severe shock, immediately fled the premises.

Agents Accused of Professional Negligence

In a significant structural move, the civil lawsuit does not target Combs alone. The plaintiff has also formally named his former talent agents as co-defendants in the legal action.

The lawsuit argues that the representation firm owed a strict fiduciary duty of care to protect their underage client from known industry hazards and predatory figures. The complaint alleges that the agency committed gross professional negligence by failing to provide an adult chaperone, failing to ensure the presence of a parent or guardian, and allowing a minor to be left entirely unmonitored with adult executives.

The Defence Fires Back

Combs’ legal and public relations team have responded to the filing with fierce, unyielding defiance. Speaking on behalf of the incarcerated music executive, longtime spokesperson Juda Engelmayer released an aggressive corporate statement to media outlets, completely rejecting the validity of the claims.

“The allegations from this so-called nameless child actor are false and ridiculous,” Engelmayer stated. “He's just another hater in a long list of people trying to get in on the money gravy train encouraged by personal injury lawyers. Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone—and that includes any child! These allegations will be disproved like all the rest.”

The Verdict

While Combs’ representatives are attempting to frame the filing as an opportunistic financial extraction, the inclusion of the talent agency as a co-defendant signals a much broader, highly strategic assault on the historical gatekeepers of Hollywood. By targeting the institutional structures that allowed underage performers to navigate adult spaces unchaperoned, this lawsuit could have massive ramifications for agency liability moving forward.

With Combs currently trapped behind bars until at least 2028 while his criminal appeal winds its way through the US courts, this new civil case ensures that the reckoning surrounding his historical behavior shows absolutely no signs of slowing down.
