Four arrested after Tower of London display case containing State Crown defaced
Four people were arrested after custard and apple crumble were flung at a display case housing part of the Crown Jewels at the Tower of London. After the lawsuit containing the Imperial State Crown was defaced, police were called shortly before 10:00 GMT on Saturday. Four people had been arrested on suspicion of criminal harm, according to the Metropolitan Police, and the Tower's Jewel House has been closed to the public while the police probe continues. Take Back Power, which describes itself as a non-violent civil rights group, claims to be responsible for the occurrence.
The group said it pulled out the stunt to demand that the UK government establishes a permanent citizen's assembly, a House of the People
with the ability to "tax extreme wealth and fix Britain.
