Train hero who saved passengers during attack named
Samir Zitouni, a rail worker credited with saving multiple lives after a mass stabbing on a train, has been named as a railway worker. On Saturday evening, the 48-year-old's activities on the Doncaster to London King's Cross service were described as nothing less heroic. Mr Zitouni is
critically ill" but stable in hospital, according to British Transport Police. Anthony Williams, 32, of Peterborough, was charged with ten counts of attempted murder on Monday.
Mr Zitouni has been with LNER for more than 20 years.

Mr Zitouni is believed to have blocked
the perpetrator from stabbing a girl, leaving him with a gash on his head and neck. After being put in harm's way,
