Sir Paul McCartney Announces UK Tour Dates for December 2024

Sir Paul McCartney has announced his first UK tour dates since 2018, with shows scheduled in Manchester and London this December. These performances will mark the first British shows of his long-running Got Back Tour, which features hits spanning his entire career.

 

UK Tour Dates and Venues

Manchester: Co-op Live Arena on 14 and 15 December

London: O2 Arena on 18 and 19 December

McCartney is thrilled to conclude his year with these performances at home, stating, "It's always such a special feeling to play shows on our home soil. Let's get set to party. I can't wait to see you."

 

Got Back Tour Overview

The Got Back Tour began in April 2022 and has already grossed over $200 million (£158 million) at the box office. The tour showcases a wide range of McCartney's hits, from the Beatles' debut single "Love Me Do" to Wings' "Band On The Run," and solo favorites like "Coming Up" and "Dance Tonight."

Glastonbury 2022 Highlights

McCartney's last UK performance was headlining Glastonbury in 2022, where he was joined by Bruce Springsteen and Dave Grohl. The three-hour set included a virtual duet with John Lennon, a rendition of "Something" on George Harrison's ukulele, and a spectacular performance of "Live And Let Die." The show was watched by 100,000 fans at Worthy Farm and 2.7 million people on BBC One, receiving rave reviews from critics.
