Prince Andrew needs to be fully investigated, Giuffre family says

Virginia Giuffre's family has told the BBC that the Duke of York needs to be fully investigated into reports that he sexually assaulted her.

It doesn't matter if it's a Royal Family member, president, or prince.
Every single individual should be held to the fullest extent of the law," Sky Roberts, Giuffre's brother, told the Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg's program. Giuffre was one of Jeffrey Epstein's most prominent financiers. Epstein introduced her to Prince Andrew, who she said sexually assaulted her three times, she said at the age of 17. In 2022, the prince, who has denied all allegations against him, reached an out-of-court deal with her that contained no admission of guilt or apology.

The prince has been asked by BBC News for comment. Prince Andrew resigned from royal duties in 2019 after a backlash from a BBC Newsnight interview about his relationship with the convicted paedophile. However, a clearly emotional Mr Roberts told the BBC that he didn't get enough of this.

Of course he's been stripped of. All of these different things are true and publicly condemned in certain ways, but that is not enough,
he said.
The fact that he's still out there, that if he is still alive in a palace or a castle isn't enough.
It's time we put every single person into prison, whether you're a princess or Prince Andrew,
says the queen, Prince Andrew, and if it's determined that you had any involvement, you should be put into prison for the remainder of your life.
The Royal Family did not reach out to them,
they said alongside his wife, Amanda Roberts. Mrs Roberts said she felt there was
more
that would come to light. Every single person who suspects her of harm must live with it.
I think we're on the brink of seeing all of those skeletons come to surface,
she said, although it was not clear if she was referring to Prince Andrew specifically.
You know what you've done, and that is for you to live with,
she said. After many years of campaigning, Giuffretoto took her own life in April. The couple also told the BBC thatLord Mandelson should never have been given the position of UK ambassador to the United States. Lord Mandelson was fired earlier this week after Bloomberg revealed a cache of emails revealing their contacts and friendship. The interview also touched on US President Donald Trump's friendship with Epstein. Giuffre said she was assaulted by Epstein after she encountered Ghislaine Maxwell, a British socialite, while working as a locker room attendant at Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach in 2000. The couple said that associates of Epstein, as well as Trump, who contributed to his recently published birthday book, including Trump, must be investigated.
I think anyone in the book, including President Trump, should be fully investigated, and if it is found, the entire investigation should be pursued to the fullest extent of the law,
Mr Roberts said. The entries from 40 people in the book were divided into several categories, including
friends, science, technology, law, andBrooklyn, were revealed, but the names underfamilyandgirl friends
were redacted. These individuals are not guilty of any criminal offense in connection with Epstein's case. The White House has denied that the alleged letter from Trump to Epstein is real. Giuffre's brother also pleaded with Trump to release the remaining so-called Epstein files.
If he's not implicated in this, he must do the right thing.
The right thing right now is to hand over the papers, give the survivors' names, and then assign blame to my sister,
he said. A White House spokeswoman slammed Donald Trump as fake news and told the BBC that
it's not news that Epstein knew Donald Trump because Donald Trump kicked Epstein out of his club for being a creep.
Democrat and media knew about Epstein and his victims for years but did nothing to assist them when President Trump called for transparency, and now is delivering thousands of pages of information," she said.
