His recent success with 'Oppenheimer,' a blockbuster biopic about the race to build the first atomic bomb, earned him seven Academy Awards, including Best Picture and his first Best Director award. Nolan wrote the screenplay for 'Oppenheimer' and produced the film alongside Emma Thomas, his longtime collaborator and wife.
