Woman arrested on suspicion of murder after two children found dead

Following the deaths of two children, a 43-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of murder. Around 07:30 BST, emergency services were dispatched to a home in Corporation Street, Stafford, where the two children were pronounced dead. A woman from the Stafford area had been arrested and remained in detention, according to Staffordshire Police.

Officers were dispatched by West Midlands Ambulance Service to their home. Specially trained officers have been notified and are being aided by specially trained officers, according to the department. The children's ages have not been determined, and a cordon remains at the house.
