Two die and third person missing after coastal search
Two people died as a result of a big search and rescue operation off the coast of east Yorkshire on Friday, according to police. Withernsea's one other individual who became immersed in the water has been searched by emergency services. According to Humberside Police, a second body was recovered from the sea on Friday evening after an unconscious 67-year-old man was pulled from the water and died at the scene. Snow and ice warnings are affecting much of the UK over the weekend and beyond, with a yellow warning in force for the east coast of England until 23:49 on Saturday.
