Zach Phee vs. Jake Pollard

In the first match up, the “singaporean kid” Zach Phee took on the 32 year old Jake Pollard in a bout that lasted six rounds in the bantamweight division. Zach Phee cruised his way to a victory maintaining a calm, controlled and clinical demeanor throughout the fight.

Louise Orton vs. Amy Greatorex

The action continued with an intense fight between Louise Orton and Amy Greatorex in a super featherweight clash. Orton, whose record was free of blemishes, doing her ringcraft tricks staying behind her piercing jab was dominating the fight from the very get go.

As the fight progressed Orton;s pressure was building up and the volume of punches she was throwing increased with every round.

But, Amy Greatorex showed her grit and heart in surviving the relentless onslaught by Louise Orton, still granting her a relatively easy victory.

Louise Orton scored a more outstanding victory securing yet another win and solidifying her status in the division as an up-coming star.

Amy Andrew vs. Linzi Buczynski - Featherweight Commonwealth Title

The stakes were raised in the featherweight division as Amy Andrew squared off against Linzi Buczynski for the vacant Featherweight Commonwealth Title.

In a long drawn out battle where both the fighters seemingly cautious and pacing themselves carefully trying to preserve their energy to finish the battle strong, the win came down to Andrew being smarter and more cautious in the ring using her fight IQ to score points.

Even Though she made her mark on the national boxing map, winning the vacant commonwealth title, she was quite critical of her performance in the post fight speech stating “ I need to work on my confidence to find that extra little bit that I need to give in the rounds.”

She said that she was excited to emerge victorious but pointed out the potential to do more and to put on a better performance.

Taylor Jordan vs. Genadij Krajevskij

Making a highly anticipated return to the ring, Taylor Jordan beat Genadij Krajevskij in a four-round super middleweight bout, putting on a dominant performance showing no signs of “ring rust” Despite the years of inactivity.

The third round in particular can be cited as the best round of the fight with Taylor tagging Genadij with a heavy right hand which sent him stumbling onto the ground.

Jordan, who possessed a playful style and a merited fighting spirit, surmounting all obstacles to win his first professional fight since 2015.

Harli Whitwell vs. Karina Szmalenberg

The lightweight division saw a thrilling encounter between Harli Whitwell and the polish veteran Karina Szmalenberg in an eight-round bout.

Whitwell, undefeated and determined to maintain her spotless record, delivered a stellar performance, from the get go initiating an  aggressive strategy as if she was in a hurry to finish the fight.

She kept her tenacity throughout the fight, constantly moving forward and putting Szmalenberg on the back foot, working the body and head, making it a truly impressive feat in fighting 8 rounds at such a fast pace.

Emerging victorious and further strengthening her claim as a force to reckon with, she thanked her loyal supporters for having her back and said that they are her strength in facing and overcoming adversity in the ring.

Stelios Papadopoulos vs. Ben Crocker

In an electrifying eight-round super lightweight clash, American Stelios Papadopoulos took on Brit Ben Crocker in a exhilarating battle of unbeaten contenders.

From the very beginning of the bout it was obvious the two respected each other’s skill, which was made evident by the slow start of the fight, where the two fighters took the time to seize their opponent and get a feel of each other.

Crocker was able to edge away the victory, based on the knockdown he scored with a left hook in the third round and having papadopoulos on the rope dealing him with an array of punches in the round prior. However, the bout was very evenly matched and papadopoulos had his moments with nice long right hands, especially during the second half of the fight.

The fight was a massive learning curve for both fighters, with a rematch looming in the near future.

Bradley Axe vs. Edgar Kemsky

Making his professional boxing debut, Bradley Axe entered the ring against Edgar Kemsky in a four-round middleweight contest. Axe had previously stated that his main attributes in boxing are his head movement and relentless forward moving pressure, but the weight of the debut seemed to be heavily placed on his head as he entered the stage with swagger.

Edgar came out with a mike tyson-esque peek-a-boo style, ducking under Axe’s punches and meeting him in the middle to exchange blows with him freely.

Despite the nerves of the debut and the relentless forward moving pressure from his much more mature opponent,Axe proved himself to be resilient enough to withstand the pressure from the tough and experienced Edgar kemsky and was on par with him in terms of skill, marking an exciting beginning to his career.

Constantin Ursu vs. Basi Razaq - Welterweight Silver Commonwealth Title

In the headline bout, Constantin Ursu defended his Welterweight Silver Commonwealth Title against challenger Basi Razaq. From the very beginning of the fight Ursu was able to pressure Razaq towards the ropes and hit his body, while Razaq seemed like he did not want to be in the ring with Ursu, which might be attributable to an injury that he sustained during training camp.

In the third round Ursu landed a crushing blow that kept Razaq out for the count, keeping his undefeated streak alive.

Speaking after the event Ursu expressed his desire to end the fight in a much more spectacular fashion stating “ I wanted to break his jaw, I wanted it to look good on video”. Nonetheless, it was a dominating performance.
