Tesco's Urgent Warning: Spend Clubcard Vouchers in Four Weeks
Tesco has issued a critical four-week warning to its Clubcard holders, urging them to utilize £18 million worth of vouchers before they expire at the end of February. More than 20 million individuals in the UK hold a Tesco Clubcard, earning discounts on select items and accumulating points for future use.
The reminder is directed at customers who received vouchers in February 2022, emphasizing that they have until February 29 to redeem them. Despite accumulating points, many Clubcard holders often forget to use them before they expire.
In addition to the reminder, Tesco is preparing to issue over £125 million in new vouchers starting February 5, providing an opportunity for customers to continue benefiting from the Clubcard program.
Emma Botton, Tesco Group Customer Director, expressed understanding of ongoing budgetary pressures and stated, “With more than £18 million worth of vouchers due to expire at the end of the month, we’re reminding customers to spend them now.”
Clubcard vouchers are issued quarterly in February, May, August, and November. Customers can redeem these vouchers on their grocery or fuel purchases or explore deals with Tesco Mobile. Furthermore, they have the option to exchange Clubcard vouchers for double the value with over 100 reward partners, including PizzaExpress, Alton Towers Resort, and Hotels.com.
Earlier this year, Tesco introduced a rare opportunity for customers to collect double Clubcard points until February 25, marking the first such event in over a decade and benefiting over 20 million Tesco Clubcard members.
