Sam Thompson Triumphs as King of the Jungle in I'm A Celebrity Finale

Reality TV star Sam Thompson has clinched the title of King of the Jungle in this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! Known for his time on Made In Chelsea, Thompson faced stiff competition from boxer Tony Bellew and former UKIP leader Nigel Farage in the final showdown on Sunday.

Thompson, who was the bookmakers' favourite throughout the competition, expressed being "really overwhelmed" by his win. The 31-year-old shared his gratitude, saying, "I've dreamed of doing this show and being invited on for years and years, and you've just made a boy's dream come true."

The victory was not without challenges. Thompson tackled various Bushtucker trials, including consuming unusual items like a pig's vagina and a camel's penis. His positive and enthusiastic demeanour resonated with viewers, securing him the crown.

The I'm A Celebrity finale drew an average of 8.3 million viewers during the first two weeks, slightly down from the previous year. Thompson's journey in the jungle was marked by moments of vulnerability, including opening up about his ADHD diagnosis last year, a topic he has been vocal about, aiming to reduce stigma.

Thompson's win follows in the footsteps of Jill Scott, last year's "Queen of the Jungle." As the latest King, Thompson thanked viewers for turning his dream into reality, capping off a memorable and entertaining season of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!
