Four killed and five injured in 'head-on' crash
According to investigators, three teenagers and a man in his 50s were killed in a road crash in which five others were also injured. Two vehicles were reported in what is believed to have been a head-on accident, which occurred in Wigan Road, Bolton, at 00:45 GMT. Three men were travelling in a red Seat Leon, two aged 18, the other 19 -year-old, had died, according to the police. The other car's pilot, a Citroen C4 Picasso, was also killed. According to GMP, the five wounded passengers were taken to the hospital where they are receiving medical attention.
The site of the accident has been cordoned off. Any information regarding the deadly accident has been appealed by GMP.
