England Star Kyle Walker Issues Apology To Wife After Fathering Second Child With Model
Manchester City and England star, Kyle Walker, has issued a public apology to his wife, Annie Kilner, after revealing he fathered a second child with TV personality Lauryn Goodman. The 33-year-old footballer acknowledged his "idiot choices" and expressed remorse, stating to The Sun newspaper, "What I've done is horrible, and I take full responsibility.”
Walker and Kilner, who are expecting their fourth child, are reportedly living separately. Annie Kilner had previously confirmed their separation on Instagram, stating, "I have decided to take some time away from Kyle." Kilner learned about Walker's second child through a message from Goodman on Instagram, leading to further strain in their relationship.
The footballer, who referred to Kilner as his 'soulmate,' highlighted the difficulty of not being with his son at night. Reflecting on his decisions, Walker stated, "I take full ownership of the choices that I've made that have hurt other people." The footballer emphasised the pain caused to his family and expressed regret for not being there for Kilner during a crucial time.
Walker, who won the treble with Manchester City last season, has faced public scrutiny for his actions in the past. In 2020, he apologised for hosting a party at his home in violation of lockdown measures. He was also involved in an incident where he allegedly indecently exposed himself in a bar, receiving an out-of-court disposal.
