TORONTO — The cryptic "winter" of Drake’s ninth studio album has finally come to an end. In a promotional stunt that sent the streets of downtown Toronto into a frenzy, the release date for the rapper’s highly anticipated project, ICEMAN, was discovered hidden inside a 25-foot block of ice.

The discovery was made on Tuesday by a local Twitch streamer known as Kishka, who successfully broke through the frozen monolith after hours of public effort involving sledgehammers, pickaxes, and even blowtorches from determined fans.

The ‘Ice Vault’ Breakthrough

The massive structure, which appeared at 81 Bond Street near Dundas Street East on Monday, bore the mysterious command to "Freeze the World." While Drake’s official social media accounts had teased that the "truth would melt away," the city’s hip-hop community wasn't prepared to wait for a spring thaw.

Following a chaotic 24-hour period that saw police called to manage crowds climbing the structure, Kishka successfully chiseled his way to the centre of a specific block. Inside, he recovered a blue waterproof bag containing a book of concept art and a formal confirmation of the date: 15th May 2026.
