LOS ANGELES — Grammy Award-winning singer Ciara and former NFL star Russell Wilson have announced they are expecting another child, expanding their blended family to five.
The 40-year-old 1, 2 Step hitmaker broke the news via a joint Instagram post on Sunday evening, sharing a candid video revealing her growing baby bump alongside the simple caption: "One more person to Love".
The baby will mark the couple's fourth child together following their marriage in 2016, and Ciara's fifth child overall.
A Strip-Back Family Reveal
Ditching traditional, heavily staged celebrity photoshoots, the couple opted for a rustic outdoor video clip featuring a backyard clothesline.
The camera panned across four white T-shirts hanging in the sun—each printed with the names of their children: Future, Sienna, Win, and Amora. The sequence concluded with a tiny, blank white onesie pinned at the end, symbolizing the new arrival.
"It's about damn time," long-time friend Vanessa Bryant commented under the post. "I love you guys so much! So happy for you."
Wilson, 37, reshared the clip across his official media channels with the caption "Baby Cinco!"—referencing a long-running joke between the couple regarding his desire to build a five-child household.
‘Cinco’ Finally on the Way
The pregnancy announcement arrives just two months after Wilson publicly teased the possibility of another addition to the family.
Speaking at Fanatics Fest in New York City in July, the former quarterback, who retired from professional football in June to join CBS Sports as a broadcaster—admitted he had been lobbying his wife for a fifth child shortly after she gave birth to their daughter Amora in late 2023.
Ciara previously confirmed Wilson’s persistent requests in an interview with Us Weekly, joking that her husband asked about "cinco" while she was still in the delivery room.
The upcoming arrival will join siblings Sienna Princess (9), Win Harrison (6), Amora Princess (2), and Ciara’s eldest son, Future Zahir (12), from her previous relationship with rapper Future.
