MILAN — Grammy Award-winning rapper Cardi B dominated the catwalk during Vogue World: Milano 2026 on Tuesday evening, strutting down the open-air runway at the historic Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in an archival pop art Versace creation.

The multi-hyphenate star commanded attention during the show's "Patterns" segment, a curated runway block celebrating Italy's rich legacy of vibrant, high-contrast prints.

The open-air presentation served as the grand curtain-raiser for Milan Fashion Week, transforming the four-story, glass-roofed 19th-century shopping arcade into a star-studded runway featuring international fashion houses, supermodels, and global icons.

A Tribute to Fashion Royalty

Cardi B’s eye-catching look hailed from Donatella Versace’s celebrated Spring/Summer 2018 collection. The line was originally designed as a tribute to her late brother, house founder Gianni Versace, marking the 20th anniversary of his passing by reworking his most iconic 1990s archival prints.

The fitted dress featured pop art renditions of vintage Vogue magazine covers, directly referencing Gianni’s seminal Spring/Summer 1991 collection that pioneered placing pop culture media imagery onto luxury garments.

Stylists elevated the ensemble with diamond-encrusted Tiffany & Co. bone cuffs and sleek black Versace footwear, completing a look that seamlessly bridged music, high fashion, and editorial history.
