Argyll Street Horror: Influencer ‘RielleUK’ Arrested on Suspicion of Attempted Murder After ‘Car Attack’

WESTMINSTER — A prominent British social media influencer is being held in custody today on suspicion of attempted murder following a harrowing incident in central London that has left a fellow influencer fighting for her life.

Gabrielle Carrington, 29, known to her 350,000 followers as RielleUK, was arrested in the early hours of Sunday 19th April, after a black Mercedes allegedly drove into a crowd on Argyll Street, Mayfair. The collision followed a violent altercation between Carrington and another high-profile digital creator, Klaudia Glam.

Mayfair Chaos at 4:30 AM

The incident occurred around 4:30 AM outside a popular late-night venue near the London Palladium. Graphic footage circulating on social media shows the two women engaged in a heated physical fight on the pavement, with onlookers repeatedly attempting to separate them.

Following the brawl, Carrington is seen walking towards her vehicle. Eyewitness video captures the moment the car accelerates towards a group of people standing in the road. Despite desperate shouts of "Don't run her over!" from bystanders, the car struck three pedestrians before coming to a halt.

Casualties and Critical Condition

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that three people were injured in the "targeted" attack:

• Klaudia Glam (30s): The primary target of the altercation remains in a critical condition in a central London hospital.

   

   

• A Man (50s): Suffered life-changing injuries after being thrown aside by the vehicle while reportedly unlocking an e-scooter.

• A Woman (30s): Treated for minor injuries and has since been discharged.

While rumours of Glam’s death flooded TikTok and Instagram on Sunday afternoon, police have stressed that she is currently alive but in an extremely serious state.

A Rivalry Turned Deadly

While the Metropolitan Police have not officially confirmed a motive, the influencer community has pointed to a long-running dispute between the two women. Sources suggest the physical fight was sparked by a disagreement involving a prominent UK rapper.

Detective Chief Inspector Alison Foxwell, leading the investigation, described the scene as "horrific" and urged witnesses to come forward.

“While this incident took place in the early hours of the morning, venues in the area were still open, and we believe a number of people will have seen what happened,” DCI Foxwell said. “This is not being treated as a terror-related incident, but rather a targeted dispute that has resulted in catastrophic injuries.”

The arrest has sent shockwaves through the UK’s digital creator circuit. Klaudia Glam, a model and fashion influencer with over 250,000 followers, is well-known for her collaborations with global brands. Carrington, as RielleUK, had recently seen a surge in popularity for her lifestyle and music-related content.

Comments sections on Carrington’s most recent posts have been disabled after being flooded with thousands of messages ranging from disbelief to condemnation.

What Happens Next?

Carrington remains in custody at a central London police station as detectives continue to review extensive CCTV and mobile phone footage of the lead-up to the crash. A formal charging decision is expected by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) late on Monday evening.

Forensic teams remained on Argyll Street for much of Sunday, though the road has since reopened to traffic.
