All The Announcements From Nintendo Direct June 2026

Nintendo just broke a nine-month silence with a jam-packed, 50-minute presentation detailing a stellar software lineup for the second half of 2026 and beyond. The showcase was filled with massive reveals, highly anticipated sequels, and major third-party ports heading to both the original Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo Switch 2.

The Blockbuster Headliners

The show saved its most spectacular surprise for last. Closing out the broadcast, Nintendo officially confirmed the heavily rumored project that fans have been dreaming about for years: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake. "The Nintendo 64 classic returns for a new generation in 2026, reborn exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2!" While the brief teaser trailer didn't show full gameplay, it offered a glimpse of Link asleep in his hut, signaling that the legendary adventure is officially coming back this year.

Square Enix also made waves with the long-awaited reveal of Kingdom Hearts 4. Complete with a surprise look at gameplay, the title is confirmed as a day-one launch on the Switch 2, alongside its releases on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. To hold fans over, the Kingdom Hearts Collection [I~III] will land on the Switch 2 on October 8th, with a playable demo for Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind going live on the eShop immediately.
