UFC To Host Fight At The White House on July 4, 2026

The White House lawn is getting a serious makeover — not just gold decor and flagpoles, but now an actual UFC octagon. UFC CEO Dana White confirmed that a professional mixed martial arts fight will be held at the White House on July 4th, 2026, as part of the nation’s 250th birthday celebration. “It is definitely going to happen,” White said, adding that he’s meeting with Donald Trump and his daughter Ivanka Trump to finalize details.

This would be the first time a UFC event is staged at the presidential residence. Trump first teased the idea at an event in Iowa, saying, “We’re going to have a UFC fight, think of this, on the grounds of the White House. We have a lot of land there.” Though no fighters have been officially named, Conor McGregor has already shown interest, saying, “I would be honoured! Count me in!” on X.

The fight comes alongside UFC’s massive $7.7 billion streaming deal with Paramount, shifting select events to CBS while keeping pay-per-view alive. As Trump pushes a full year of celebrations under his “Salute to America 250 Task Force,” this UFC match is set to be one of the boldest and most unexpected birthday bashes in American history.
