Trump Campaign Claims It Was Hacked by Iranian Operatives
Few days back the Trump campaign claimed that it was hacked. They believe that Iranian hackers were backing this cyber attack. The campaign stated that some of their important internal documents were stolen and shared with others.
The FBI which is responsible for investigating crimes in the USA has confirmed that they are looking into these claims. However the Trump campaign has not shown any clear evidence that directly links Iran to the hack.
The campaign's believe that Iran might be involved and comes from a report by Microsoft. In June 2024 Microsoft reported that Iranian hackers tried to break into the systems of a Usa presidential campaign. While Microsoft did not say which campaign was targeted the Trump campaign thinks it was them.
Tehran which is the capital of Iran has denied being involved in the hack. They say they did not do it. So far no additional proof has been given to support the Trump campaign's accusations.
This situation has raised concerns about the safety of political campaigns especially as the USA prepares for the upcoming election. People are worried that similar attacks could happen again which could affect the fairness of the election.
