Snoop Dogg Joins Swansea City as Co-Owner

Snoop Dogg has officially become a co-owner and investor in Swansea City, surprising fans after modeling the club’s 2025–26 home kit last weekend. The rap legend said his love of football made the move feel natural, but it was the story of the club that sealed the deal. “This is a proud, working class city and club. An underdog that bites back, just like me,” Snoop said, adding he’s “proud to be part of Swansea City” and eager to help however he can.

This isn’t the first celebrity to invest in the Championship club with Luka Modrić joining as another co-owner earlier this year, but Snoop’s involvement adds massive global appeal. With over 100 million followers across social platforms, his presence is expected to boost the club’s brand and generate new revenue streams. The club also unveiled a mural of the rapper in the West Stand of the Swansea.com Stadium to celebrate the partnership.

The American ownership group, led by Brett Cravatt and Jason Cohen, is aiming to use high-profile backing to fuel commercial growth and put together a more competitive squad. “To borrow a phrase from Snoop’s back catalogue, this announcement is the next episode for Swansea City,” they said. And with Snoop’s star power on board, the Swans are definitely stepping into a new era.
