Sky Sports has secured a new four year deal to broadcast the Tata Indian Premier League (IPL) and Tata Women's Premier League (WPL) until 2027. The new agreement will allow UK and Irish audiences to watch two of cricket's top T20 tournaments, adding to the existing lineup of live cricket currently available on Sky Sports and NOW.

Jonathan Licht, Managing Director at Sky Sports, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "The IPL and WPL are two fantastic competitions that see the world's best players compete in front of a fanatical local audience - resulting in some of the most explosive and entertaining cricket in the calendar." He added, "We're excited to bring these great live events to life on Sky Sports, adding to the already unrivalled cricket line up this year and giving fans access to more of the sport and players that they love."

Coverage of the Tata Indian Premier League starts on the 22nd March and will continue until May, with 74 live matches from the tournament available to watch. Viewers can watch the action on Sky Sports Cricket, or on NOW with a Sports Day or Month membership.
