Ariana Grande Finalizes Divorce with Dalton Gomez After Three-Year Marriage

Broken heart shaped piece of paper on a string

Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez have finalised their divorce after nearly three years of marriage. The Los Angeles Superior Court officially dissolved their union on Tuesday, following Grande's petition that was filed six months ago. The couple, who had a prenuptial agreement and no children, swiftly settled their split with minimal legal disputes.

Grande to pay $1.25 million to now-ex-husband

Grande will pay Gomez a one-time sum of $1.25 million and split the proceeds from the sale of their Los Angeles home, as outlined in their October agreement. She will also cover up to $25,000 of his attorneys' fees. The divorce marks the end of a relationship that began in early 2020, with the couple announcing their engagement in December 2020 before tying the knot in a private ceremony in May 2021.

What's next for Grande?

Since their separation, Grande has reportedly been romantically linked with her "Wicked" co-star Ethan Slater. Meanwhile, her latest album, "Eternal Sunshine," soared to the top of the charts, with all 12 chart-eligible songs on the album appearing in the Hot 100. The singer is also set to return to acting, and will be portraying Glinda in the upcoming film adaptation of the beloved musical alongside Cynthia Erivo's Elphaba, with the first instalment expected to be released in November.
