Adele Bids Emotional Farewell to Las Vegas Residency: "I Will Miss You Terribly"
Adele has officially wrapped up her Las Vegas residency, bringing her emotional Weekends with Adele shows at Caesars Palace to a close after 100 performances. The 36-year-old singer’s final concert on Saturday night left her visibly moved as she bid farewell to her fans, who packed the 4,000-seat Colosseum theatre. "I chose to do a residency so I could keep his life normal," she explained, adding that she was looking forward to spending more time with him. She also thanked her partner, Rich Paul, for being a supportive presence throughout the journey.
As she closed this chapter, Adele reflected on her decision to take a "big break" from music. I just need a rest and I have spent the last seven years building a new life for myself, and I want to live it now" she told fans earlier this year. She has also expressed a desire to explore other creative ventures, including pursuing an English Literature degree, which she hopes to start in 2025.
